I do not know how to begin to thank all of you for the help you have been with our Hurricane Disaster Relief Operation in Houston. It has been unbelievable how eager and helpful all the drivers, dispatchers and managers have been.

Everyone has jumped right in to help. You should be very proud of your Summitt Drivers and Staff. I have been in contact with hundreds of drivers this week, each of them have been very professional and timely with every assignment given to them. Please pass our sincere thanks to them. We truly appreciate everything that you do for us on a daily basis.

As we wind down our efforts in the Houston area, our stores and our warehouses have had only praise for the fine work you have done. Your drivers and staff were ambassadors for Summitt as well as Kroger and the state of Texas.

The image conveyed to the Houston community was a positive one. You impacted many lives in a proactive and long lasting manner. This experience has been a greatly positive one for Summitt and our team in Dallas.

It is carrier partners like you that have helped make Kroger successful. We look forward to growing our relationship for years to come.
